NEW YORK KNICKS 2009-2010 SCHEDULE RELEASED
Here we go again.
Champion Miami Heat Dancers Get Our Season Started Right (Sorry Knickettes, We Love You Too)
The season starts for the Knicks in Miami on October 28th when our beloved team faces Dwayne Wade, Michael Beasley, Jermaine O’Neal and Mario Chalmers of the Heat, the 5th seed (43-39) in last year’s Eastern Conference Playoffs. This will be an exciting time as any mention of the Heat gives us an appropriate reason to boost our own ratings by pumping the Heat’s Championship dance team. Lawdy, lawdy Miss Mawdy: when the opposition cheerleaders look that good, it makes you want to cheer with them, after them, near them. . . .o.k. I digress with my poorly placed heterosexual humor. LOL.
Our first home game is the second of a back-to-back also against a playoff squad, the speedy 76ers (41-41) with a revamped roster (Andre Miller is gone) including rookie Jrue Holiday, AI (Iggy) and Sam Dalembert. Elton Brand doesn’t fit on this team but it looks like he’ll still be there. LGK.
Including our home opener, the Knicks play 18 back-to-back games with the second end against teams such as the Bucks (Brandon Jennings), Boston (twice), Orlando, Portland, Cleveland, Chicago, Dallas, New Jersey (twice) and Washington.
The Knicks’ first ten games include battles against six playoff teams: Miami, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Cleveland, Utah and Atlanta.
Interestingly, ESPN is scheduled to show 5 Knicks contests.
Knicks fans get to see plenty of stars and potential free agents at MSG including Chris Paul (November 2), LeBron James (November 6), Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce (November 22), Dwight Howard (November 29), Blake Griffin (December 18), Derrick Rose (December 22 and February 17), Dwayne Wade (December 27th and April 11th) and Kobe (January 22).

Whoa Fanatics!!
The Latina is fine, but the “Hot Chocolate” warms me up. Look at the thighs on her. ‘Lives’ to divert from a miserable season you may need to have a deep collection of photos.
Peace & Blessings

Alan Hahn reports on the latest information he is hearing about the Knicks’ pursuit of Ramon Sessions as the team’s next point guard.
“What I have been told is the Knicks want Sessions and they will eventually get him,” Hahn writes. “The price remains TBD.”
Hahn earlier reported that the Knicks were offering slightly less than the team’s mid-level exception, which starts at around $5.8 million in the first season.

Sources: Knicks eye Stackhouse
By Marc Stein
ESPN.com
Former All-Star Jerry Stackhouse will be the latest veteran to audition for the New York Knicks when he meets with team officials Thursday.
Sources with knowledge of the meeting said that Stackhouse is scheduled to work out at the team’s practice facility as the Knicks continue to search for proven players to fill out their roster.
The Knicks have recently auditioned point guards Jason Williams and Jamaal Tinsley while also negotiating with Milwaukee Bucks restricted free agent Ramon Sessions. It’s believed that New York, except in Sessions’ case, is generally searching for players it can acquire on one-year deals to preserve as much salary-cap space as possible for 2010 free agency.
Stackhouse would appear to have a decent shot at landing an offer from the Knicks, depending on the state of his game after a virtual year off, given that they have minutes available at shooting guard.
He became an unrestricted free agent last month after the Memphis Grizzlies bought out the final year of his contract for $2 million. Memphis acquired Stackhouse from the Dallas Mavericks in the four-team trade headlined by Shawn Marion and Orlando’s Hedo Turkoglu.
Various injuries limited Stackhouse to just 10 games with the Mavericks last season. But he has a lifetime scoring average of 18.4 points per game and has made two trips to the All-Star Game in a 14-season career with four teams.
As for Williams, New York’s exclusive negotiating rights with the point guard expire Thursday. But ESPN.com reported Tuesday that Williams and the Knicks could continue talks beyond that deadline — even though Williams will become an unrestricted free agent Friday if he doesn’t receive an offer from the Knicks that meets league guidelines.
“There’s mutual intrigue,” Knicks president Donnie Walsh told the New York Post after Williams’ workout. “He looked good [and] seemed in good shape, but it’s a process and could take time.”

DLT,
Turtle Don is playing “don’t over-bet your hand waiting on the river when you holding 3 Kings”. Someone please tell Turtle Don’t that his three of a kind are unproven and not ready for marquee PT.
If Stack man cometh, what does that say about Technic(Al) Harrington and Larry Hughes? Is the Scriptoball saying that Dirk Nowitzki comes in 2010 instead of LBJ?
Just Blogin,
Steady

Steady,
I do understand this move by Turtle Don.Since,JKidd and GHill used the Knicks to get more from their teams,Turtle Don is using other players to get the bargaining prices down on the playerrs he wants(Sessions). That’s not a bad move if true. Also,Walsh does need a vet player with a winning attitude to help with the younger players and the team’s moral.Al and Larry don’t fit that role.I’m not a big Stackhouse fan though.
Don’t hurt ’em.
Comment by DLTKnicks | August 5, 2009
Now that is some crazy shyte. Donnie Done lost his mind.
